Let’s Find the Right Place to Start
Guidance that Starts with You
Independent perspective: I help you compare available options based on what matters to you- not a one size fits all recommendation.
Life insurance should fit the life you’re protecting
The right amount and type of life insurance depend on what you want the coverage to accomplish. Across California, that may mean protecting income in a high-cost household, helping cover a mortgage or rent, supporting children or aging parents, safeguarding a business, or preparing for final expenses.
Protect your family’s income
Help the people who depend on you continue covering everyday expenses if your income is no longer there.
Protect your home and obligations
Provide funds that may help with a mortgage, loans or other financial responsibilities.
Plan for children and future needs
Consider childcare, education and the long-term goals you are helping your family work toward.
Prepare for final expenses
Help loved ones handle funeral costs and other end-of-life expenses without adding as much financial strain to an already difficult time.
Not sure whether your need is temporary or permanent? Let’s review it together.

Compare life insurance options available in California
Life insurance generally falls into two broad categories: term coverage for a specified period and permanent coverage designed to remain in place for life when required premiums are paid. Available products, features, rates and underwriting requirements vary by carrier and applicant.
-
Permanent coverage that can remain in force for life as long as the required premiums are paid. Whole life coverage typically includes a cash-value component and is often considered for long-term protection or final expenses.
-
Permanent coverage that may offer more flexibility around premiums and the death benefit, depending on the contract. It is important to understand which values are guaranteed, which are not and what is required to keep the coverage in force.
-
Generally smaller permanent coverage designed to help loved ones pay for funeral costs and other final expenses. Available amounts and qualification requirements vary by carrier.
-
Permanent coverage purchased while a child is young. Depending on the coverage, it may build cash value and continue into adulthood as long as required premiums are paid.
-
Coverage for a set period, often used to help replace income or protect needs that may decrease over time, such as a mortgage or the years spent raising children. Term coverage generally does not build cash value.
-
Some coverage may be available without a traditional medical exam. Eligibility can still depend on health questions and other underwriting information, and a no-exam option is not automatically the lowest-cost or best-fitting choice. Comparing the available paths can help you make a more informed decision.

A California-licensed life insurance agent who starts with your life
Working with me should feel like a conversation, not a sales pitch.
I help eligible California residents by phone and virtual appointment. We’ll begin with the people and responsibilities you want to protect, your budget and what you want the coverage to accomplish. If you already have life insurance, we can review whether it still fits.
As an independent licensed agent, I can explore available options from insurance carriers with which I am appointed, subject to product approval and underwriting. I’ll explain the differences in plain language and help you understand the application process.
My goal is to help you understand what you are choosing and feel confident that it makes sense for your life—not to pressure you into a particular product.
Let’s make life insurance feel less overwhelming
You do not need to know which type of coverage you want before we talk. Bring your questions, your goals and your budget, and we’ll take it one step at a time.

-
Not necessarily. California is a large and diverse market, and product availability can vary by carrier appointment, product approval and underwriting. We will confirm what is available for your situation.
-
Yes. A coverage review can help you understand the type of policy, benefit amount, premium structure, riders and whether it still aligns with your goals. A review does not automatically mean replacement is appropriate.
-
Do not cancel existing coverage until new coverage is approved, accepted and in force. A replacement can restart contestability and suicide periods, change guarantees or features, and cost more based on your current age and health. Review the required replacement notices and compare both policies carefully.
-
California policies include a right-to-examine or “free-look” period described in the contract and delivery notice. The applicable period can depend on the policy and purchaser, so review the policy promptly and ask questions before the deadline.
